Pictures taken to be used in contents, double page spread and the cover

These pictures are good because the model suites the genre of magazine well and it shows the musician in the recording studio which is a typical place of where a musician is likely to be. The lighting is high key and the quality is very good as there is no blur or distortion. I used low angle medium shots show him to be powerful and it would show that he is the main part of the magazine. I may use one of these pictures on my contents page but i do not think they are cover or double page spread images.

These pictures are good because they show a musician playing an instrument but i do not feel the model suited the genre of magazine i was intending as he seems too happy and not aggressive enough. I used some medium shots of him with the drums in the shot to show him playing because i thought i would be able to use one of the pictures as another band member picture on my double page spread but i wouldn't use them anywhere else. I also tried to get some movement shots of him spinning the sticks so i could attempt to edit the pictures together to make it look like the sticks where spinning in 3 different shots but it didn't work and i wont use them.

The pictures are good because it shows my cover model playing an instrument and it can show how good of a musician he is. I used medium high angle shots so the audience could see the piano keys and see the model playing. The light was very low key due to not having any moveable lights but they can be edited to look slightly brighter. I may use one of the pictures on my contents page to show how good a musician he is.

The shots above are good as they show some of the recording equipment well, it has very good lighting, it is very clear with no blur or distortion and it also shows the recording equipment in good detail. I used close up shots of the speakers to show the detail of the speakers and i used high angle shots of the mixing desk to show all of the controls on the desk and to get no shadow.

The pictures above are great because i used a variety of shots, such as medium, and medium-long shots to show the musician. The lighting in the pictures is very high key and it makes the pictures seem very clear. The lighting is good because of the use of the moveable lights. Some of the shots have blur because of a shaky hand but most of them are very clear and not distorted or blurred. the use of the green screen makes the pictures easily editable and the green works well with the colours used on my magazine. I will use one of the pictures on my cover and double page spread because they are clear, they show the musician very clearly and they are very varied. Also, the edit-ability of the pictures makes them easily made to fit in with the magazine.

There will be a margin of approximately 1cm all the way around the page do there is room for page numbers and for the issue number and date. I will also have room for tabs with information about other pages in the magazine or for other information.
